CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

“As I sat in the backyard, I gazed at the building which now houses the school. Lit by the interior lights, I looked into the newly built bottom floor and envisioned the kids there every day. I remember years ago when we first brought [my daughter] to the Persian center, and how far the school has gone in such a short time. It is not [just] the size of the building, the location, or the number of children that show how successful a school is….. the kids themselves are proof.

I stare at [my daughter] now, years later,  and she is proof that Golestan is a success. I listen to [her] when she speaks Farsi, and that is proof that Golestan is a success. I witness her behavior, her interaction with kids and adults, and that is proof that Golestan is a success. The teachers that have influenced and molded her personality, that is proof that Golestan is a success….”

GolestanHome

Our beautiful building is for sale; if we do not buy it, we will lose our home.

Since 2008, we have been establishing the school, training and retaining excellent teachers, and perfecting our curriculum. With a solid foundation, we must now secure a permanent home for Golestan by purchasing the building in which it resides.

On March 26, 2014, Ms. Bita Daryabari offered Golestan a $300,000 challenge grant!  This means that every dollar donated will be matched, dollar for dollar.  Once we meet this challenge, we will have the funds we need to save our home.

A special thanks to those who have supported our Capital Campaign thus far.  If you prefer to keep your gift anonymous, please make a note of it on your donation form or email capitalcampaign@golestankids.com.
