After School & Learners Classes

6 to 12-year olds in the after-school and learners programs participate in an array of activities which center around collaboration, respect for others, and independent thinking. There is an emphasis on the reuse of materials and creative applications for everyday objects. While working cooperatively with their peers, they learn to read, write, knit, cook, play music, build strength and flexibility with yoga, make dolls and ceramics, garden, play music, practice storytelling, paint and much more.

The after-school program is structured to include a healthy snack, activity time, outdoor play, games, and quiet time. Enrollment is available Monday through Friday, 3:30 to 5:00 PM.

The learners class offers immersion in Persion language instruction for students with limited verbal comprehension. The learners class schedule for Fall 2011 is Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:30 to 5:00 PM. Please email info@golestankids.com for more information.
